Pre-Walking Harrison

See on a Monday when we look after Harry it's the greatest pleasure and hardest test of our endurance!

He is such a bag of tricks for a wee baby not-yet-able-to-walk I am totally exhaused by five-o'clock when his daddy comes to take him home.

But what fun! Endless games of knock-the-box-over, and Old MacDonald, and wibbly-wobblies on unsure legs, and how-come-you've-got-all-those-teeth-and I have only got two?

How on earth do you capture any of that high-octane activity?

Raspberry to you, Pappa!

Ah, if only I was ten years younger.

I wouldn't be a grand-pappy!

Confident drawings David. You have a regular life model!

Thanks Andrea!
He is either all wrapped up in a blanket sleeping and I can hardly see anything of him, or he's wriggling about on the floor like a Lowly worm and not sitting still for a second.
Happy to find I can still hold a pencil.

As Mae West famously once said: "When I'm good I'm very, very, good, but when I'm bad I'm better!" ;o)
Nice to see you here, Giggles. Glad you like these drawings!

They don't call me quick-draw McGraw for nuthin', Edgar...come to think of it they don't call me quick-draw McGraw!

I cannot tell a lie - these sketches were made from photo's which is something I don't normally do but it was a device for getting me drawing again and it was also the only way to capture a likeness, unlike todays posting which shows Harry asleep made direct from life.

Thanks for commenting, Edgar :o)
