After an almighty struggle Harry finally gave in and fell asleep for his afternoon nap beside his Pappa and, after a while, I managed to sneak away and get some pastels and paper. I couldn't get round to see his face but thought the bums-up position was good enough to draw:
Neocolours on cartridge paper, A3.

Well, QuickDrawMcGraw, these are lovely and what a great record for him when he gets older. I think you've captured well the high octane energy.

HeXian: tempting as the offer is you need to give me a bit more to work on before I open a link that may possibly prove fatal!
Vivien: thinking about you recently after watching a fascinating programme on BBC4 about the artists of Cornwall and St.Ives.
Nice to see you here and thanks for your comment!
Hi, I know it will sound rather smug seeing how you guys have been suffering with all the white stuff but it was sunny here today and the temperature got above freezing. (Please don't hate me ;o)
Certainly not, Lisa, in fact after the heaviest snowfall I can remember in a very short period (30cm in 6 hours) we had two fantastic days of clear blue skies and a winter-wonderland par excellance.
Now a thaw has set in and we are sloshing about up to the tops of our wellies :o(
It was fun while it lasted - if you didn't have to drive anywhere!
ps: I love the name "seaside studios :o)
